Machined Billet Camshafts means that the camshaft has been turned from a round bar of steel and is Nitrided after grinding to ensure hardness of the lobe areas. Machined Billets are used for low production items and generally cost more then Chilled Castings due to the work involved in producing these , however STK are able to offer these Machined Billet Camshafts at the same High Quality and Affordable Prices that we have become known for in the market place. Please Note with Performance Billet Camshafts it is 100% essential that Valve Spring Travel & Valve Spring Heights are measured and rectified in order to avoid Coil Bind which will cause damage to the Valve Spring, Camshaft Lobe and/or Engine especially when fitting a High Lift Billet Camshaft. Available for Street , Race , Drags , Turbo etc VW 1800 & 2lt 16v - ABF / AAL / KR Opel SuperBoss & CD16v Durations from 260 - 320 degree for Hydraulic & Solid Applications.
